Do I need an appointment to try on bridal gowns?

We do require appointments in order to try on bridal gowns. At Boulevard Bride, we strive to make your experience as personalized as possible. An appointment allows us to get to know you and what you're looking for in a wedding dress. Walk-ins will only be accommodated if we have a stylist and dressing room free. Our weekends usually book up quickly, making it very difficult to allow walk-ins.

What's your average bridal gown price?

Our price range is $1,800 to $4,000, with most brides finding their perfect gown between $2,500 and $3,000.

Do you carry plus size dresses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our bridal sample sizes range from 6 to 28, our prom gown sizes range from 000 to 26, and our mother's gowns range from 6 to 26W. Bridal and mother's gowns can be ordered in sizes 0 to 34W. It is incredibly important to us that all of our clients feel welcomed and comfortable in our store, regardless of size. We have hand-selected our plus size collection to include dresses with the best construction and support possible.

Do you offer payment plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes we do. We can customize a plan that works for you. Depending on the amount of time we have to order your gown, we can offer a 3, 6, or 9 month interest-free automatic payment plan. Ask your stylist at checkout if this is something you are interested in.

Question 5

Will my dress need alterations and are those included in the price of the dress?

Accepted Answer

99% of brides and mothers will need some type of alterations done to their dress. All wedding and mother's dresses are made with a length to fit 5'11" and taller, so most people will need a hem. Other common alterations include strap shortening, bodice taken in or let out, and bustle added. The cost of alterations is NOT included in the price of the dress. We do offer a list of recommended seamstresses in our area as a courtesy.

How far in advance should I order my dress?

In a perfect world, every bride would place an order for their gown a year in advance. Wedding dresses can take up to 9 months to come in. They can also arrive in as little as 2 to 3 months. To have no limitations when shopping with us, we recommend that you start shopping 12 to 14 months in advance from your wedding. The sooner you're able to order your dress, the better.

Can my mom or another guest help me in the dressing room?

We ask that your mom and any other guests relax and enjoy the experience of watching you try on wedding dresses. Our stylists are available to help you into the dresses if you'd like, or if you'd feel more comfortable, you can get into the dresses on your own and your stylist can step in to zip, clip, and button you up.

Congratulations on finding your dream dress. The next time you'll hear from us is when your dress arrives at our store. Depending on the designer, wedding gowns can take anywhere from 2 to 9 months to come in. The designer cannot tell us an exact date that your gown will arrive, only an estimated timeframe.
